Apple provide Keynote on Apple devices to play PowerPoint presentations. It does make showing slides easily after paying. But users still couldn't experience all of the functions which Microsoft PowerPoint has, though users can export Keynote files to microsoft powerpoint documents, or import microsoft powerpoint files into Keynote.

A new App was released on Apple App Store these days. It named Haiku Deck developed by Giant Thinkwell. You can download Haiku Deck on itunes.apple.com.

Haiku Deck could be downloaded free. It was latest updated on August 14, 2012. The English app is 45.6M. And it is compatible with iPad Requires iOS 5.0 or later.

Haiku Deck is the simple new way to create extraordinary presentations for any occasion - when you are telling a story, enlivening a meeting, teaching a lesson, or pitching an idea.

  • Choose perfect look from a range of stylish themes or you can import images from your iPad, Flickr, Picasa, Instagram, or Facebook for a personalized touch.

  • Besides applying fonts and image settings, Haiku Deck also support perfect layout for each slide with one tap.

  • You can not only share your decks to email, Twitter and Facebook, but also export to PowerPoint or Adobe .pdf. So, besides showing with an iPad, a projector, a smartphone or any web brower, users have many ways to deal with their presentations.

  • The most important thing is that - Haiku Deck is totally FREE. Nothing is needed to be paid before you use it.

But the a fly in the ointment is that Haiku Deck doesn't support adding animations and multimedia, such as background music or videos. It is still the disadvantage of Keynote, too. And the only way to solve this is that, converting powerpoint presentations to videos in .mp4 on computers, keeping everything from original files. And then, showing videos on iPad.
